Rondo signed a two-year deal with the Bulls in 2016, which means he will get $3 million for the 2017-18 season because of his guaranteed contract. Rondo who is now 31 years of age, had a disappointing season. He averages 7.8 points per game, 6.7 assists, and 1.4 steals per game.
